Youth

Opportunities for fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth abound for youth in grades 6-12 at Northsprings UMC.   Navigating the waters of early adolescence can feel downright scary and lonely.  That's why Jon Smalling, Director of Youth, and the counselors do their best to show the youth that there is someone to guide them in the person of Jesus the Christ, a group where they will always be accepted, and a place where they can be safe and have a heck of a good time! Sounds good doesn't it?!

All Students in 6^th – 12^th grades are welcome to join us for any events.

Sunday School: 9:45 to 11:00 A.M.

School? On Sunday?! Yuck! I know, I know. That was my first reaction too, but this is different. On Sunday morning we meet in the Youth Warehouse from 9:45-11:00 to learn about our faith. Jr. and Sr. High youth meet separately, but both groups focus on studying the Bible, the source of God’s word. And, believe it or not, we have a great time doing it! Discussions are lively and the teachers are awesome!

Sunday Night Programs: 4:30-7:30 pm

Join us on Sunday evenings for an awesome afternoon full of music, food, fellowship, and study.

Sunday Night Youth Schedule: Starting September 12!
4:30-5:30: YME (Youth Music Experience). Are you interested in singing? Playing an instrument? Learning more about music? If so, then join us for yme, and share your musical abilities with us!
5:30-7:30: Youth Team Building & Fellowship in the Warehouse. Open to 7th-12th grade, bring $3 for snack supper!

5:30-7:30: Confirmation Class. Open 6th-12th grade (ends Dec. 5).

Wednesday Night Program: 5:30-8:00 pm

Join us on Wednesday nights for our weekly gathering of fun, fellowship, and learning and growing together in Christ. We meet in the Warehouse each week.

Big Events

These include participation in SLR, (Spiritual Life Retreats) at Camp Glisson, Northsprings Youth Retreats, Ski & Beach retreats, Lock-ins, Lock-outs, Camping trips, assisting in worship, Mission trips, etc., etc., ad infinitum.
