Other Opportunities for Children:

Acolytes

Children in grades 3 through 5 serve as acolytes during the 11:00 AM worship service. After training, these children help begin worship as they bring the light of Christ into our service.

Service & Missions

Throughout the year the NSUMC Children's Ministry participates in many different forms of service through missions. Most recently we held a Back 2 School book bag drive directly benefiting local elementary schools; collected change for Trick or Treat for Unicef; handed out food, water, and supplies to families and workers in Austell after the 2009 flood; donated games, prizes and toiletries to Atlanta Dreams Center - Metro Kidz; and collected clothes, shoes, food baskets and toys for Woodland Charter Elementary School families who needed a little extra help during the Christmas season!
Check back throughout the year for information on how you can be of help with our 2010 service & mission initiatives!
